“Come, come, whoever you are. Wanderer, worshiper, lover of leaving.
Ours is not a caravan of despair. Come, yet again , come.”
This hymn has become an anthem for Unitarian Universalist congregations across the nation. It captures the spirit of diversity found within our faith and its message of love.
We are a community of brave, curious, and compassionate thinkers and doers. UUs are diverse in faith, ethnicity, history and spirituality. Bringing people from different walks of life together with the desire to make good in the world.
We need not think alike to love alike. We are people of many beliefs and backgrounds. We are Unitarian Universalist and Buddhist, Christian, Hindu, Humanist, Jewish, Muslim, Pagan, atheist and agnostic, believers in God, and more.
Message adapted from the Unitarian Universalist Association.
